DR. DAVID L. HAGEN
In 1986, Dr. David Lee Hagen joined the practice after the successful completion of his medical internship at University Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, surgical internship at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and finally completion of his residency in ENT at Tulane Medical Center, New Orleans, Louisiana. Sharing the same family values and reputation for caring as his father, Dr. David soon developed an immensely successful practice. He also introduced technological innovations of the 1980s to the Houma/Thibodaux areas. These innovations include the use of the CO2 Laser for both oral and laryngeal surgery. Along with the application of the lasers in ENT, current concepts on the surgical management of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea were introduced for the benefit of our patients. Dr. David considers his strengths in medicine that of the middle ear and mastoid surgery, reconstructive surgery for hearing, pediatric ENT, evaluation, and treatment of migraine headaches, as well as evaluation of reflux and throat disorders.
DR. MATTHEW G. BEYER
Dr. Beyer is a board-certified otolaryngologist/head and neck surgeon who grew up in Gretna and attended Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero, Louisiana. He attended the University of New Orleans on an academic scholarship earning bachelor's and master's degrees in Biological Sciences. His Doctor of Medicine degree is from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans and he completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
Dr. Beyer’s interests include middle ear and mastoid surgery and restorative surgery for hearing, thyroid and neck surgery, as well as endoscopic sinus surgery and pediatric endoscopic procedures. He was the first surgeon in the Houma Thibodaux area to perform stereotactic computer-guided endoscopic sinus surgery.
Dr. Beyer lives in Houma with his wife and six daughters.
DR. CHAD M. SIMON
Dr Simon is originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. He graduated from Lafayette High School’s gifted and talented program. He attended college at The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then pursued his medical education at The Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans where he garnered several academic scholarships and awards. In his third year of medical school, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society as a junior member, an honor awarded to only the top 5% of the class. After graduation, Dr. Simon chose to seek subspecialty training under the otolaryngology department at the University of Texas Medical Branch- a renowned training program founded by Byron J. Bailey, author of the now famous Otolaryngology textbook used around the country. Dr. Simon received extensive training in all aspects of the specialty, including pediatric otolaryngology, sinus surgery and rhinology, allergic disease, otology, head and neck oncology, laryngology and voice disorders, and facial plastic surgery. Upon graduation from residency, Dr. Simon was inducted into The Byron Bailey Surgical Society.
Dr. Simon’s particular clinical interests include medical and surgical treatment of sinus disease, balloon sinuplasty and other in-office sinus therapies, cosmetic and functional surgery of the nose, and sublingual immunotherapy for nasal allergies.
Dr Simon and his wife, Christie, live in Houma with their three daughters, Alexandra, Victoria, and Genevieve.
AMBER HEBERT, FNP
Amber Hebert is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in Louisiana. She graduated from Nicholls State University with a Master's degree of Nurse Practitioner in December 2015. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the nursing national honor society, Sigma Theta Tau. She is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Previous to getting her master's degree, she attended Nicholls State University and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Nursing where she graduated in 2009. She then worked as an RN in the Critical Care Unit at Terrebonne General Medical Center for six years. Amber has been working with Hagen Beyer Simon ENT Clinic since February 2016.
She is accepting new patients, both children and adults.

Amber and her husband live in Houma with their fur babies ChiChi and Emmy.
ROXANNE HEBERT, HEARING AID SPECIALIST
Roxanne Hebert has been in the Hearing Aid Industry for 17 years. She is a La. Board Certified Hearing Instruments Specialist. She is a member of the International Hearing Society and the Louisiana Society of Hearing Instrument Specialists. She has served the LA Hearing Society through the years in the roles of President, Vice-President, and Secretary.
Roxanne’s achievements include Beltone Master Practitioner award in 2006, Beltone Regional Excellence award of 2007, and Best of the Best on the Bayou for 2017 & 2018.
