DR. DAVID L. HAGEN
In 1986, Dr. David Lee Hagen joined the practice following the successful completion of his medical internship at University Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida; a surgical internship at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and his residency in otolaryngology (ENT) at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Upholding the same family values and commitment to compassionate care established by his father, Dr. Hagen quickly built a highly successful practice. Over more than 40 years, he has proudly served the Tri-Parish community. He also played a key role in bringing advanced medical technologies to the Houma and Thibodaux communities during the 1980s. Among these innovations was the introduction of the CO2 laser for oral and laryngeal surgery. In addition, he implemented contemporary approaches to the surgical management of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, enhancing patient care in the region.
Dr. Hagen's clinical interests and areas of expertise include nasal and sinus surgery, pediatric otolaryngology, and the evaluation and treatment of migraine headaches. he also has extensive experience in diagnosing and managing reflux-related and other throat disorders.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Hagen enjoys a fulfilling family life with his wife, Melissa Kraemer Hagen. Together, they value time spent with their blended family, including their children, grandchildren, and beloved animals. he also enjoys traveling with his wife and is an enthusiastic supporter of LSU sports, cheering on the Tigers whenever he can.
DR. CHAD M. SIMON
Dr Simon is originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. After attending college at The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, he then pursued his medical education at The Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans where he garnered several academic scholarships and awards. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society as a junior member, an honor awarded to only the top 5% of the class. After graduation, Dr. Simon chose to seek subspecialty training under the otolaryngology department at the University of Texas Medical Branch and subsequently begin his practice in Houma, where he has family ties.
Dr. Simon’s particular clinical interests include pediatric ENT, medical and surgical treatment of sinus disease, including several in-office sinus therapies, cosmetic and functional surgery of the nose, sublingual immunotherapy for nasal allergies, and medical and surgical treatment of the thyroid. He also has an interest in general wellness for longevity and aesthetics. He enjoys treating patients with hormone replacement and GLP1 medications and being a part of a successful weight loss journey. He also takes pride in delivering cosmetic facial treatments and rhinoplasty surgery.
AMBER HEBERT, FNP
Amber Hebert is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in Louisiana. She graduated from Nicholls State University with a Master's degree of Nurse Practitioner in December 2015. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the nursing national honor society, Sigma Theta Tau. She is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Previous to getting her master's degree, she attended Nicholls State University and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Nursing where she graduated in 2009. She then worked as an RN in the Critical Care Unit at Terrebonne General Medical Center for six years. She recently has gotten certified in injectables and is offering appointments for Jeuveau in office or concierge. Amber has been working with Hagen Simon ENT Clinic since February 2016.
She is accepting new patients, both children and adults.
