As this difficult year comes to a close, we wanted to reach out to remind you that all of us at Hagen Beyer Simon ENT are here for you and your families. 2020 has been a period of hardship and change, but you are not alone. Staying connected to friends and family is more important than ever during this unprecedented time of social distancing. Our offices are open and available for in-office appointments! We would like to assure you that our offices are taking extra sanitation measures and actively wearing masks as well as other personal protection equipment to ensure patient and staff safety. We invite our patients to remain in their vehicles upon arrival until your exam room is available. The health and well-being of you and our staff is our utmost concern as we continue to offer compassionate, quality care. If you would like to schedule an appointment but would prefer to stay at home, we are also offering telemedicine appointments. From the comfort and safety of your home, you can speak with your physician via video or telephone call. If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you consider scheduling a telemedicine appointment. We are proud to offer a 3-in-1 test available to test for COVID-19, the Flu (A/B), and RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) at the same time via a saliva sample. The symptoms of these three viruses are extremely similar and we recommend testing for all three at once if you are symptomatic. You will receive the results of this 3-in-1 test within 48 hours WITHOUT a nasal swab or needle stick! You will be asked to remain in your vehicle, and a simple saliva collection will be performed. You can call our office to schedule an appointment.
As we continue to offer these services, we urge you to take precautions at home to protect yourself and others from the spread of COVID-19. Please wash/sanitize your hands often. Avoid close contact with those outside of your household or those who are sick within your household. Wear a mask when around others, clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, and monitor your health for symptoms.
